These vertebrae have an eye that is significantly larger than the 8-eye on the opposite side. Like all of our swivels, the Big Eye Swivel is manufactured by the Japanese company that is the leader in this segment. Of course, these swivels are also characterized by the non-shiny, gray color typical of Korda.

The Big Eye Swivel is ideal for running rigs. Simply connect the swivel cast in the lead to the Big Eye Swivel using a Kwik link and the leader, main line or anti-tangle tube will slide through with ease thanks to the larger eye.

These Big Eye Swivel were originally only available as part of our Running Rig Kit. But now we also offer them separately.

The second area of ​​application for these swivels are helicopter rigs. Thanks to the large eye, a Big Eye Swivel rotates better around the leader. The large eye of the Big Eye Swivel also provides valuable service when using a marker float: It guarantees that the main line with the float attached to it slides easily through the eye and the float rises to the water surface without any problems.
