After 32 prototypes and countless hours of testing and tweaking, Allan Christiansen finally got his hands on the original Platypus in 16 and 19mm. These 9 and 12mm versions are the small and handy brothers of the original Platypus. Just like the larger members of the family, these versions run with a very provocative movement pattern, with the body rolling on its own axis and flanks flashing repeatedly. Another great feature are the light-reflecting eyes (optic eyes). They are made of colored light-conducting glass fibers and enable a unique lighting effect through light reflection.
