I rigged the reel with an Abu Garcia Baitcaster Beast. The device purrs like a bee, Abu-like. I wouldn't recommend the model with the smaller gear ratio as it shouldn't be slower when spinning. Lies nice and flat on the rod and can be easily operated with one hand.
