The Aldebaran BFS is Shimano's best ultra-finesse baitcaster. It is specifically built for the lightest lures and rigs in finesse fishing. This super-light reel, which technically operates at the highest level, even transports 1 gram "heavy" lures to good distances. As a friend of small lures or as an angler specializing in smaller fish species (perch, trout, etc.), you have to love the Aldebaran BFS. The outstanding smooth casting performance of the Aldebaran BFS is based on the FTB (Finesse Tun Braking) system. The combination of magnets and a centrifugal drag system works perfectly with the super light MGL III spool to control drag on the cast. The S3D spool design and SilentTune take casting performance to a new level. With the dial controlling the brake set to its lowest setting, there is virtually no noticeable braking force. The Aldebaran BFS is not only characterized by the ingenious throwing properties. Inside there is a Micromodule gear and X-Ship - guarantors for a smooth run and cranking power in the fight with big fish. Thanks to the HAGANE body made of magnesium and Ci4+ material, the weight has also been reduced to a minimum. Light lure experts who prefer a fast reel will be picked up by the HG (7.8:1) and XG (8.9:1) models.
