Many anglers are now fishing at long distances. For this purpose we have developed the Longchuck funnel web, the narrowest of our three funnel webs. It is therefore predestined for long casts.

A slim PVA stick filled with tasty food particles - what could be more attractive to a carp? And when you pull this stick onto the leader, tangling the rig during the cast is virtually impossible.

The underwater films have shown us impressively that a chunk of groundbait from a PVA stick on a small feeding area will be dissolved within a very short time, provided the white fish attracted are in a feeding mood. But the same amount of groundbait within a spacious boilie feeding area or even fished without any additional food remains on the hookbait and can develop its attractive effect on carp.

Due to its slim shape, you hardly feel the Longchuck Funnelweb when throwing. This makes it the perfect funnel web for all throwing distances and for every surface. It hardly sinks in mud due to its low weight, which significantly improves bait presentation.

On gravel the Longchuck Funnelweb keeps the leader straight. And in the herb, the Longchuck Funnelweb prevents the hook from getting tangled up in the tangle of plants - because it is drawn into the stick. Thanks to a longchuck PVA stick, you can even create a gap in the loose weed: Use a short leader of a maximum length of 15 centimeters and pull on a longchuck stick that is almost as long. When casting, make sure that you hold the main line taut while the rig is sinking. Then the lead in combination with the stick penetrates the upper layers of weed and comes to rest on the bottom where the weed is often not so dense.
The stick prevents the hook (whose tip is poked into the stick) from getting caught in the top layers of weed. Once the PVA dissolves, the hookbait and leader, which should be braided for this technique, sits perfectly on the bottom. A bottoming carp can now suck in the hookbait with ease - thanks to the soft, braided leader it is all the easier to do so.
