Stir the contents of the bag into 10 liters of water. Place the cleaned fish in it for approx. 8 - 12 hours and keep it cool! Then rinse the fish with cold water and let them dry well. Then smoke as usual. 600 g of smoking lye for 10 L of water is enough for around 10 - 15 portions of trout.
