Avid Carp Av8000

The AV8000 reel from Avid Carp is a compact baby big pit reel that is just as at home on a long range setup as it is on a short stalking rod. The tapered spool allows for friction free casting and the Depth of the spool allows for the use of strong lines. The AV8000 is equipped with a front drag system that allows you to switch from an open drag to fish-fighting mode in less than one turn.

7 stainless steel ball bearings and 1 bearing for the line roller ensure that the AV8000 runs smoothly and increases the lifespan and durability of the reel.

The AV8000 features a CNC machined aluminum handle and ergonomic soft-touch rubber grip that transfers more power and provides extra grip.

Additional features include a large-diameter reel bail, a stainless steel shaft, a robust reel body and rotor, a special drag knob and a line-friendly line clip. With this equipment you are equipped for every situation with the AV8000.
