The W10 Braided Line was developed for all anglers who have always been looking for the ultimate braided line. Our innovative braid construction creates a main line that combines maximum knot and abrasion resistance with a super smooth surface. Made from high quality Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) fibers with a 13x (12+1) design with 12 fibers woven around a central core (CORE) to create an extremely round profile with improved strength in comparison to 8X braided lines. The W10 braid uses an "Advanced Ultra High PIC" construction with 56 weaves per inch, for an even smoother surface and much higher abrasion resistance. In addition, the tighter braid of "Advanced Ultra High PIC" ensures minimal resistance in the rod rings and therefore even further and more accurate casts. Overall casting performance is further improved by a Dura-Coating gel process, which gives the braided mainline a smoother, hydrophobic surface, reducing water absorption and greatly reducing friction. To achieve maximum color stability, the W10 braided cord is soaked in dye tanks before it is then cured in the oven to "bake" the pigments. Finally, it is sealed with a Dura layer for improved longevity.
