A lifelong fascination with fish has given Tommy a very special understanding of their behavior. From observing ornamental fish in the aquarium, to diving with wild fish, to fishing for various species, Tommy was obsessed with developing artificial lures that more closely imitated our predators' prey.

His first, “Original Perch,” created in 2015, is probably Tommy’s most famous lure. Designed to imitate a small bass, which is the main prey of all predators on most waters. The “Original Perch” clearly shows how Tommy pays special attention to details to create the most lifelike bait possible. Due to the constant striving for perfection and constant further development, the “Original Perch” is now at the pinnacle of bait design.
The dynamic shape of the “Original Perch” has been optimized over time with external fins to make the appearance even more lifelike. Combined with the incredibly realistic, hand-painted finish, the “Original Perch” was irresistible to big predators from the start, earning it a reputation among international professionals.
The upturned design of the shovel tail has a unique action. Not only because this type of tail gives the lure a unique and realistic run, but also because it swings further at slow speeds and in the sinking phase. The action has its best effect when the bait is jellied or retrieved slightly irregularly.
