This is our 2nd version of the Bladebite Tungsten Bladed Jig, now with a thin yet strong specially designed metal blade that produces an impressive swimming action. The key to success with the Bladebite is its vibrations and action that occurs as soon as the bait is moved. Be it immediately after the cast or after a short pause when retrieving, the blade immediately grips the water and begins to vibrate. A blade jig works equally well in both clear and murky water and is typically fished high in the water column over grass, timber and rock structure where the enticing action encourages predatory fish to bite. On heavily fished waters, a bladed jig can make the difference between success and failure. We have also attached a strong, oval snap ring to the front of the bait, which you can tie directly to your leader - or connect to your steel leader with a snap. Feel free to experiment with different rubber baits as trailers, with twister tails, shovel tails and creature baits working particularly well and the combination still running perfectly.
