Description

The Shakespeare SALT surf reels are available in the two most popular surf sizes and both have been fitted with a large line capacity spool and a spare spool. This allows you to achieve the casting distances you need to fish far beyond the surf and reach fish that lie behind the surf. The lightweight anodized aluminum spool is aided by a smooth drag system that allows you to lock up while casting. In addition, the 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system in combination with the strong gear ensures perfectly smooth running. Thanks to the anti-twist line roller, the reel can handle all line types, whether you prefer mono or braid, this reel can handle it all.
