The Rook 65 trekking backpack has a very easily adjustable ventilated AirSpeed ​​mesh back system with a large ventilation space. This allows the body to sink into the hip belt and lumbar area of ​​the backpack, significantly increasing overall comfort and allowing for very stable and supportive load transfer. Adjusting the back length is very intuitive and is done using an innovative step adjustment system. Two buckles at different heights for attaching the load control straps to the upper frame also ensure that the shoulder straps fit comfortably in any position. A large, heavily padded hip belt ensures a very comfortable fit and supports carrying heavier loads in the backpack.
The Rook trekking backpack offers everything you need for multi-day backpacking trips: a large capacity with access via the top lid and the lower sleeping bag compartment. An internal divider that can be detached when not in use creates a separate lower compartment. Multiple compression straps ensure the backpack remains stable without impeding access to the mesh water bottle compartments. Two hip belt compartments and a large lid compartment with a key clip make access to smaller items easier.
The Rook is compatible with Osprey's Daylite daypacks. These smaller backpacks can easily be strapped onto the larger trekking backpack and increase the capacity. It is also possible to leave your large backpack at camp and go on a shorter trip with just your daypack.
