Hi! Is this rod already so usable or do you still have to order various parts such as elastic etc.? Is this rod also suitable for larger carp/trout? Thank you for your efforts. Best regards, Guido Kuehte

I now own two of these rods. The first one has been in use for a good year now. The second five months. The first one I installed an elastic side puller after the tip broke (it was my own fault). (Thanks to the preparation, this can be done in about 15 minutes). Now why 5 stars. It's a cheap beginner's rod with the necessary equipment to try everything out and after a year I still enjoy it both as a rocker and as a side puller. As a rocker (as it comes) it is suitable for long-long or long-short fishing. Whether you are targeting small fish such as bowers and roaches, medium-sized skimmers and portion carp (up to 2 kg). It has a finely springy tip and enough backbone for the thicker chunks. For heavier guys (from 3 kg or very strong) I would install at least one elastic band, but it doesn't take much effort. Furthermore, it is made robust enough to forgive most mistakes. Now for the “disadvantages”. The rod is not comparable to a Matrix Premium, I know but that is not what it is intended for. It's a little heavier than a high-tech rod. It only costs a fraction. There are no top kits as far as I know. Which isn't a big deal considering the price. !!!CONCLUSION: Who would I recommend this rod to? Anyone who has had a cheap piece of speck in their hand and enjoyed watching the pose dive. If you want to get a taste of the world of modern pole fishing, you definitely can't go wrong with this rod. Add to that a more robust assembly, food and nothing stands in the way of a nice day at the lake.
