How can you improve something that is as good as perfect? We asked ourselves this question when we started developing a new member in the well-known MAD® rod series D-Fender. This name has its permanent place in the market and stands for premium carp rods at a fair price. The most important improvement we achieved was to significantly reduce the diameter of the blank and to give the rod a very fast action in this price segment! In addition, we gave the rod an even more exclusive look with a special line clip, woven carbon reel seat spacer and a smart wrap made of Japanese shrink tubing around the handle. We also kept it minimalist with the labeling of the rod. Only the subtle D-Fender 2 logo catches the eye. The D-Fender 2 is made of highly robust TC 24D carbon and is equipped with oversized, slim rings DIH- Fitted inserts - perfect for braided lines! The D-Fender 2 rods are light, slim carp rods with a powerful backbone to keep every carp in front of an obstacle and to achieve long casts.
