Weedy Leader is a sensation when it comes to modern catfish leaders. Many manufacturers still rely on thick leader material without knowing that their customers will catch less with them right from the start. We have recognized this trend towards thin and very soft leader materials and are now even offering camouflaged materials. Catfish are very line shy and recognize the unrealistic swimming behavior of bait fish by thick lines. In the past, we from the Black Cat Team have often laboriously camouflaged our leaders with algae and leaves and achieved insane catches with this approach.
