A sensitive Torayca® carbon blank with enough backbone to pull through the hook and the power to tame big fish forms the basis of the second generation W3 Dropshot rods. The two-piece SKS reel seat is extremely light and offers direct contact with the 1K woven carbon reinforced blank for maximum sensitivity. The blank is equipped with a super soft tip that provides more feel and better bite detection. The flat rear handle is designed to rest on the forearm when fishing for greater comfort and stability. Details such as the unique hook holder also set this rod apart from the competition. When using a typical dropshot rig, the line is simply shifted and tightened to hold the dropshot weight in place, eliminating tangles when switching between spots.
