The incredibly short transport length of these rods makes the rods unique. A sliding butt section creates a "semi-telescopic" function without losing the usual action of a 2-piece rod. The XS CMT rods feature a custom made silicone grip that not only acts as a shockproof buffer for the rods but also protects the inside of the blank during transport. Each XS CMT rod is supplied with a neoprene rod cover to ensure the rod is kept in optimum condition. The neoprene rod cover also works well as protection for rod storage. The rods are manufactured with TDG-Sea stainless steel guides, which are very light and have a larger inner diameter than conventional ceramic guides.
