When the Chinese copy something, but unfortunately have no idea what they are doing... The clamping surface has very poorly cast teeth. I have no idea how to properly clamp 20 hooks without bending them. Plastic is also very soft imo. And the retaining wire is bent the same length. Normally you just put the end of the cord on the front bow and then pull the wire bracket down and away and with it the end through the loop to loosen the loop. However, this does not work as well with these wire ends of the same length as with the original Matchman binder or the Stonfo, which have different ends (longer at the front than at the back). Also rather unsuitable for building a hook binding machine due to the freely rotatable end. (The Stonfo machine bypasses the problem, but creates another one.) The Original Matchman is what you want to have to recreate an Ezee Tie. But that is of course not a product shortcoming.
