Korda Pear: Swivel 70 grams

The classic Pear Lead can be cast very far, almost as far as the Distance Casting Swivel. In addition, due to its very compact shape, it is less susceptible to side winds. The Flat Pear is therefore suitable if you want to exhaust your personal long-distance casting abilities.

Its compact shape is an advantage on muddy bottoms. If you use a light flat pear, say 1oz or 2oz, and let the lead sink into the mud, the carp will hit against a very strong resistance when you pull it off. That means: The self-hook effect with a flat pear sunken in the mud is as good as with heavier leads.

Because the Flat Pear has a large, rounded bend, you can feel its impact on the bottom better than with slim leads.

The Pear Swivel is excellent for fishing with the Solidz PVA bags, because of its shape it fits well in one of the two corners at the bottom of the PVA bag. This shifts the center of gravity of the PVA bag forward and thus enables greater precision when throwing.
