Is the rod case really thickly padded? Everything I found on the internet in pictures definitely suggests something else. Looks to me like anything but no padding.

Good case with useful outer pockets and additional possibility to transport an umbrella. Processing also good. I still have an old model of the bag. The padding was better at the time (thicker), and the risers were also thicker. In view of the price, it is definitely recommended. If you want who, you have to dig much deeper into your pocket. And the DAM parts are strong and durable!!
