With the BG Monocoque reel, DAIWA introduces the next generation of the incredibly robust and resilient BG reels.

Due to the MQ construction, the gear drive wheel - depending on the model size - can be made about 20-40% larger than with conventional spinning reels, thus significantly improving power transmission and service life. The design of larger teeth in the drive wheel also contributes to better strength and durability.

The torsion-resistant aluminum reel body ensures optimal storage of the gear unit and long-lasting, smooth running. Depending on the size, the BG MQ are suitable for medium-heavy spin fishing in fresh water - here in particular for heavy baits and high permanent stress - to extreme fishing in salt water for tuna and GT.

Sizes 6000 to 10000 are the ideal power packs for medium to heavy fishing in Norway for large cod and halibut.

From size 6000 upwards, the handle is always turned over by hand.

Braking force: 2500/3000: 10kg, 4000-6000: 12kg, 8000/10000: 15kg, 20000: 20kg
