Anaconda E-coil PC-52R 14000

I haven't used the reel yet, so my impression so far: The reel makes a great impression, best workmanship, first-class running (buttery smooth and precise), everything seems solid and very stable. I look forward to being able to use them soon.

Unfortunately, the role is not at all satisfactory. I had ordered the 6500 size. The axis has far too much play in the vertical plane. So it can be moved about 1,5mm up and down with the coil. In addition, there is a "plastic cage" under the spool, which is supposed to prevent the line from slipping down under the spool. Of course, this cannot be seen in the picture. It sits wobbly and looks like it has to be removed before use, but this is not so easily possible. The brakes can also be heard very loudly, even when the load is low. This may be due to the carbon brake discs, but it's not a great feature. I cannot understand what the manufacturer calls "years of experience". It looks more like a nice design has been considered and no one has ever questioned the mechanics. The Betalight in the freewheel bar can't make up for that either. Better leave the reel building to other companies.
